The Bruce and Jamie Watson concert scheduled for Abbot House on Friday 12th March has sold out, and due to the huge interest in the gig a second date has now been added by Dunfermline Heritage Trust for the following evening on Saturday 13th at 7:00pm.

Bruce, who is also appearing with the Skids at the Alhambra in another sold-out performance, is delighted with this turn of events. “It’s great to be performing in front of so many people and to hear of the renewed interest in our music. My advice would be for people to buy these tickets soon as I know that a lot of our fans who have booked for the Friday night show at Abbot House will be snapping these up as soon as they go on sale, particularly our fans from abroad”.

Manager of Abbot House, Kath Robertson, told the Press that this is the
fastest ever sell-out of an event there.

“The interest in our regular series of concerts in the atmospheric
venue of the Long Gallery is increasing all the time and we have just
featured in a national music industry magazine which highlighted many
of the recent events here. This concert sold out in record time and we
already have a long list of people who have registered interest in this
new date and we know this one will also sell quickly”
