Ahoy Comrades,
With the current developments in Scotland in mind, we have put the Stuart trib gig on the back burner as we don't want to confirm it and then some faction of The Skids/BC Family announce a North American tour, so thus we are playing it safe and seeing what develops after the November gig as a precaution. My Spidey Sense keeps telling me something is about to happen that will be very pleasant news for those of us on El Continente America Norte! In that regard, I await with bated breath!
Holy To The High,
Clem In Cin City USA
Ahoy Clem, are you saying The Skids have been offered some US dates?
I can't afford to even go and see my football team at the minute, but as with next month's show I will be there if this is the case???
Tony

I sacrificed the methods of my dreams
Ahoy Tony,
There's nothing in the works that I know of; we just decided to play it safe just in case. However, should some faction of the Skids/BC family decide to come Stateside under The Big Skids banner, my former associates at the late, lamented Jockey Club are quite willing to come out of booking/promotional retirement to put in a bid for a Cincinnati area date in case a NA tour might be in the works. The venues they're looking at include the ballroom at Harvey's On 8th or Newport's historic Southgate House, both which hold around 600+, but if demand warrants it, we are very willing to step aside and let either Live Nation put it into Bogart's (capacity 1450), or Nederlander Entertainment put it into the Madison Theater in Covington (capacity 1350) if the end result is a Cin City gig. All we ask is to keep us in mind should the idea be tossed about!
Holy To The High,
Clem In Cin City USA
