which gigs did you like best glen 07 or alhambra 10? the glen gigs just shade it for me,the amount of people i hadn't seen for years that came from far and wide for the glen gigs was unbelievable.that really was a week in my life that i'll always remember
I agree smid the Glen gigs and T in the Park was for me a great time and being able to catch up with old friends from far and wide ,and listen again to the live sound track of my youth again will stay with me for years
I never thought that they would ever play again so after all those years the glen had great expectations and great excitement for me and I was not disappointed -
The alhambra gig was good and I may be one of the few who enjoyed the " new versions" but a reunion can only happen a couple of times so if they were to do it again some more new stuff or new versions would keep me chasing a carrot -but I would still go and see them no matter what they did ! and where !
Got to agree the Glen gigs were something special, still look back on those four days as some of the best of my life

I would go with the Glen, it was just so out of the blue, and it being the first real time I'd seen them, the whole week was just magical, plus made some friends for life...sorry Al ;-)
Alhambra and Glasgow were great, but I knew what to expect really. The acoustic songs made the gig die at the end, they should have played more than just a couple to round off. Minor quibble!!!

It`s a hard one! Agree with Pete the glen was so out the Blue and it was a fantastic 5 days had. Brilliant time it was great. However I feel the ABC and Alhambra were real venues where as the Glen is not. Sound & lighting much better at recent gigs where as the Glen was hot & sweaty the way great gigs should be! Can`t split them to be honest. Made some fantastic mates over the last few years due to being a Skids fan though!
Firstly can I start by saying I'm a real person not a venue and I'm not hot and sweaty..Hendy.
Have to say i've been deliberating over this one for the last couple of days too. I only made it to the Thursday performance at the Glen and I was on crutches!! Not the best for pogoing. Had physiotherapy next day and set myself back about 6 weeks..but well worth it. However it was the very first time I had seen them play live and a dream come true. I never thought i would ever get the chance to see them... I was still in short trousers the last time they did a tour.
The Alhambra weekend will stay with me for ever. Met some GREAT people - you know who you are -, was there on the Wednesday for the interview, was on the bus on Friday, met the band after the gig and had the best day ever on the Saturday. So although I did more and met more fans on the Alhambra weekend I have to agree with most of you and say that one Thursday night at the Glen Pavillion was the best..Purely because it was the first time I got to see my favourite band.
